My cat is bored with Royal Canin. What new cat food should I buy?
I would recommend choosing a brand of food and sticking with it. Changing food frequently can lead to digestive upset and a picky eater. Best cat food for new cat: no by-products, soy, corn, or fillers?
Any food from a name brand source, science diet, Purina, Iams, royal canin, are typically well balanced for cats. There is specific label that says AAFCO.. you do want to make sure this on there as it means it was tested and approved to standards. Each company makes certain formulas and flavors that you can pick from to select the best ingredients you want such as natural balance by science diet

What food for my new young cat, with others on urinary diet?
Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! How nice of you to take care of Lilly! She is very cute and it seems like she feels right at home. Lilly looks like a young adult and if you want to feed her the same urinary diet as your other cat that is absolutely fine. Otherwise I like Hill's, Royal Canin, Iams and Purina brands of foods. Is Royal Canin better than Now Fresh for my 6-month Sphynx cat?
Dobby is so cute! In my opinion, Royal Canin is a better food, and I highly recommend it. The food meets AFFCO standards, and they have veterinary nutritionists on staff, so you know the food is made to meet a cat's nutritional needs. You can stay with Fresh Food brand if you'd like, but I think the Royal Canin would be better. I hope this helps!

Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. My top recommendations of veterinary diets include Hill's Science Diet, Purina, and Royal Canin. These are well-known brands that are stocked in veterinary hospitals, and are AAFCO formulated to be balanced and appropriate. I recommend avoiding grain-free, boutique diets from other brands, as these are not regulated and often are do not have balanced nutrients. I hope this is helpful!
