Wasn't specifically looking for calming features when my 100+ pound Great Pyrenees tried on over a dozen jackets and hoodies at store. The calming adjustments on the XXXL provide a customized snug fit that he doesn't try to shake off. Quiet fabric compared to raincoats and onesies. Ample coverage over chest for walking through dirty areas on damp days. Comes out of the laundry looking great.

My adopted beagle mix is hard to fit: she has a large torso and smaller head. I was really happy to find that the medium fit her with room to spare. She is also very timid, but offered no resistance when I dressed her in this hoodie. In fact, she promptly fell asleep while wearing it! The Velcro straps are easy to adjust, the stretchy arm and neck holes are roomy and easy to access, and she looks so darn cute in it! We haven't had a thunderstorm since receiving the hoodie so I can't yet attest to the calming part. But judging by her initial reaction, I think this was a worthwhile purchase that will help with her anxiety.

We've had several thunderstorms since receiving this product, and I've tried it several times. It doesn't seem to do anything to calm my dog down, unfortunately. It's a nice hoodie and she'll wear it on a looser setting once it gets colder outside, but it's definitely no replacement for a thundershirt.

I used this calming jacket on my dog for the first time last night during a thunderstorm and it worked great for him. We’ve use other calming jackets in the past but I like that this one covers more of his body and it’s easier to tighten around his body. I would definitely buy this jacket again

This is a nice jacket made of really good material. I can see where it would be considered calming as it hugs the body nicely. It was a little difficult getting my dogs arms in when we was being squirrely but once on, he seemed to settle.

When I received the hoodie, there were some imperfections-holes and snags on one side. The seams and the velcro are well made and if my dog wasn't so furry the hoodie would have fit her perfectly. The neck was very tight on her and she didnt like the hood. My dog is a Bernese Mountain Dog and after 5 min she was panting heavy from heat.

What a great piece! I have a senior dachshund that has struggled with anxiety for many years. Nothing has helped, except anti-anxiety clothing. This is one of the best types we've found so far. It covers more of his body than other types, is made of sturdy yet soft material, and most importantly, it really seems to calm him down while helping him feel cozy.

My pup is very anxious boy any storm or even when the wind blows a little to rough. This keeps him snuggly just like a hug would. He seems to be much calmer and relaxed when I put it on him. Here’s to hoping that this will keep nice and happy.
