I have a shih tzu.. do you think is a good food for him? Or should I get for small breed?
- We used the "lil plates" of the same formula and flavor for our poodle mix (14 lbs) and maltese mix (7 lbs) pups. Good size kibbles for smaller dogs.

How many cups can we measure per pound of dry food in each bag?
- I have not weighted it. But I give my 13lbs maltipoo 1 cup per day and one 13lbs bag is good for 3 months. It's about 7 cups per pound.

Are the kibbles small ? I have small dogs.
- They are approximately the size of a dime, maybe just a little smaller. I have not looked to see if they offer a smaller size kibble because I have large dogs.

When Purina purchased Merrick, did the quality/ingredients change in the dog food? I have been hearing that Merrick is not as good now that it is owned by Purina

Are the various fish ingredients in this formula from wild or farmed fish? And why do use canola oil? I know it's cheap, but it's also genetically-engineered!! (As is all the cheap feed given to farm-raised fish, by the way...)
- Merrick recipes have a combination of both wild-caught and farm-raised salmon. Canola oil was selected as a fat source for the purpose of supplying energy from a non-animal origin. This oil is an excellent source of essential omega 6 fatty acids. The canola oil we use is very similar to what you cook with at home and buy in the grocery store. In fact, it comes from a food grade facility where they make many other oils for salad dressing and such.

WAnt to switch brands of dog food on my repeat delivery - how do I do this?
- Hi Ajsmith, Currently, there is no way to change the food on a repeat delivery. You could either cancel the repeat delivery then set up a new one with the new food or add the new food to your existing repeat delivery then remove the food you wanted to change.
