While this toy is great for older dogs, what I'm writing about is Petco's service. I had an issue with the delivery dates changing from day to day. Was upset because I could have made plans around the actual delivery date. Told their customer service, as it was in the 3-5 business days, not much they could do. Did take the survey that was emailed regarding the phone call and spelled out the problem. Not only did they respond to the survey but actually read it and acted on it. Thanks Petco well done. I was almost ready to start shopping a competitor that I don't really care for but that swung me right back to Petco. They truly care about their customers and pets.

Very rugged treat holder

Not so useful as my dog didn’t care to chew it and difficult for big treats to take out. It was somewhat useful-buy time as she tried to take out treat. Great for foodie dogs that needs something to chew on to deal with anxiety. Not sure if this is the best in the market, as I needed something quick. So it got an average rating for doing something useful and didn’t break apart easily.

My dog isn't technically a senior, but he doesn't like hard chew toys so I got him this one. He loves it! Once he figured out that he was supposed to chew on it and that when it bounces it goes in all different directions because of the shape, he hasn't left it alone. When I first opened it the rubber smell was really strong, but a day or so later it was gone. He loves it when I put peanut butter around a hard treat and put it inside, keeps him entertained for hours and doesn't seem to bother his teeth any.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My two Lab pups could chew through any thing. I had graduated from red kongs to the tough black ones. My dogs are now seniors. I am so glad I bought the senior kongs. It is more gentler on their teeth. ..

Can my dog get the treats out if he's lost his top and bottom front teeth?

    I think so. My Lab rolls it with his nose for treats to drop out and if there are a few stuck inside he seems to stick his tongue through the opening to try to get them out.
