Hello, I have been a consumer of this pet food for years. After hearing these reviews I am wondering how good is this product. In addition, one of the customers had mentioned that there was not a enough meet in the package. I would like some valid info.
- JFFD Beef and Russet Potato is the only food my dog will eat. She is an eleven year old GSD rescue, eating this variety for around nine years. The diet works very well for her and her vet agreed she is doing great with this food. I’ve made the JFFD recipe with their supplement and other items picked up at the grocery store when we were in locations where the frozen was not available. The fresh frozen appear to have similar amounts of beef to what the recipe provides. My dog loves the JFFD beef and potato fresh frozen food and is always excited to be fed and cleans her bowl each feeding.

I have a 19 lb dog, but i use one package in about 3 days. I am feeding her too much. She is 13 and has a big appetite. Also, I read one of the reviews for the Pet Fresh dog food, and the review had mention that she do not see any chicken in the package
- My dog is 23 pounds and eats a total of 3/4 cup of Just Food For Dogs plus treats daily. There is no chicken in the beef recipe, but there is a separate chicken recipe.

Why can’t I warm it up be for serving it to my do. It’s so cold, she would like it better if it was warm and you could smell it.

My dogs love this food and as a retired Vet Tech, I love the healthy options for them. However, since I have very small dogs, the food does start to get rancid about a week before we are finished with the package. Do you have any suggestions?
- I think the package says not to refreeze the food, but I do split it into smaller portions and refreeze. I have a vacuum sealer to make it easier to do.

When will this be restocked? This is the the only food my dog has eaten for the past year. It has now been out of stock for awhile.
