For a Belguim Malinois what should I gave it the Large breed o the NORMAL the one in the blue bag
- I did feed that to my Doberman for years She liked it however my girl was diagnosed with diabetes nearly 2 years ago so she can no longer eat that If that wouldn't have happened I would still be purchasing that food I used the chicken & brown rice I hoped that helped

I've seen articles about vets not recommending or liking Blue Buffalo brands? Is it still something of a concern? The dates seem recent... I have a German Shepherd and an Australian Sherpherd mix that might be part Malamute...
- that scares me because I have had my guys on Blue since day one .and my shep is 13 and my husky is 14. Did not see article but Im sure there are alot better foods out there but I thought with the ingredients in their different brands, this was middle of the road as far as decent ingredients and price. I have to feed 3 large breeds

What dog food should I get and why? Either Blue Freedom or Blue Freedom Grain-Free?
- To my knowledge, all of the Freedom varieties are grain-free. If your dog exhibits indication of a grain allergy then go grain free tho I don't believe there's any harm in feeding it even if there is no allergy indications. I tried feeding my dog a budget food by a different manufacturer. My dog chewed his feet, which my vet said can indicate a food allergy. After switching to Blue Buffalo Freedom variety the foot chewing stopped.

why is blue buffalo the best dog food?
- I used to feed my 80 lb yellow lab Iams until they started making it with lower quality ingredients. The differences that I can tell you that I noticed once I switched her to Blue was a much shinier, smoother coat that smelled less. Her breath also got more pleasant smelling and her stools got smaller. She can absorb more of the ingredients because they aren't all corn and filler that they can't digest. Those are just the things that I noticed.
