Why do my cats fight over sleeping on my bed? Is it territorial?

A sudden behavioral change could indicate an issue such as pain or underlying illness, so if this happened suddenly or recently, having both cats examined for any signs of ongoing pain or illness is a good first step. if they check out healthy (aside for any known previous conditions), then adding in something such as a pheromone diffuser can help with stress between cats and aggressive behavior. Making sure both cats have access to their own food, water, litter, bedding, etc can also help decrease tension and stress over these items. If one of your cats is going blind or hard of hearing, adding in nightlights and making sure your cat can get around easily may help reduce stress related to these conditions and reduce tension between both cats.

It sounds like you have a behavioral issue in the house. One of the cats is trying to be dominate over the other. I would make sure you have 1 more litter box than cat. Also have multiple areas to place food and water. This will eliminate competition over those things. I would try feliway in the rooms the cats spend the most time. This is a pheromone to help with stress. Increase exercise as best you can. They do make toys you can hid treats an the cat has to get them out. Also hid toys around the house at night so Mo and Francis have something to do. These types of behaviors can be very frustrating and can be difficult to resolve. The easiest thing to do is to add an additional litter box in that area to see if this helps. A good rule for cats is one litter box per cat plus an additional one. Another option would be trying feliway which is available as a spray or a diffuser to see if this helps with some stress your pet may be experiencing when you leave. Other types of medications for behavior modification would be prescription based so I would recommend reaching out to your family veterinarian regarding those options if necessary. He may be experiencing some stress and anxiety from having another cat in the house. You could try Feliway Spray or a diffuser and see if that helps. You could also try Solliquin and see if that helps. I'm sorry to hear your cat isn't doing well in your home anymore. If you have enough space in your home, you could try separating the two cats temporarily with a gate while we try to re-introduce them again. Feliway Friends is a cat pheromone spray which can help cats get along better. I see you live in Poland, perhaps you can try your local vet or purchasing it online. You can have them eat side by side, but with a gate between them. That may help them get used to each other's scents and start to associate their interactions with something positive (eating). Make sure that you have separate food and water dishes for the two cats, and at least 3 litter boxes in the house. Take it very slow and don't be too rushed to introduce them again. As much as we try, two cats may never get along but we can at least try to have them be civil toward each other! Best of luck!

I recommend that you try a product called Feliway which can help cats deal with any stress inducing situations like the one you describe. You can buy this as a spray for example at your local pet store or online. If she does not improve, the other thing that should be considered is if there is a medical reason for all of this which is certainly possible.
