You love your pup, but you might not love that they’re a mattress hog. Petco’s selection of dog beds for extra-large dogs can give your big best friend their own space. Cushiony and soft, our extra-large dog beds are big enough to provide oversized canines room to sprawl. They’re so spacious and comfy, your extra-large breed with feel right at home.
At Petco, we have different styles of dog beds for your pet, so you can choose one that best suits their preferences and needs. If you have a snuggler, some of our cozy extra-large dog cave beds contain pillowy sherpa on the inside and have a fluffy pouch over the top so your pup can feel safe and cocooned as they drift off to dreamland. Some models are 45-inches long and 45-inches wide, and many feature covers that are machine washable. There are also orthopedic versions for dogs who need a little more support.
Extra-large raised dog beds may be great for senior pups. No matter how soft a bed might be, sometimes it’s hard for your elderly dog to get up off the floor. An extra-large elevated dog bed may make it much easier for them to maneuver out of the bed if your dog suffers from arthritis and/or hip dysplasia. Some of our elevated beds feature foam mattresses that can be great for both indoor and outdoor use.
Our sofa dog beds in extra-large sizes can be an elegant addition to your bedroom or living room. We have charming miniature versions of human couches, and you and your dog can be twin sofa buddies while curling up to watch your favorite movie. And many extra-large dog sofa beds have orthopedic cushions to help support your pup while they sleep. They come in many styles and colors to match your décor. These extra-large dog beds are some of the many durable dog bed styles Petco carries.
If you’re looking for something a little more traditional, our extra-large round dog beds come in different textures and materials. Some of our bagel beds have lots of fluffy fiberfill for your dog to sink into. They’re very spacious, and many are machine washable. Some models feature a waterproof denier base to help protect your floor and limit skidding and sliding.
If your dog needs firm support, we carry a variety of extra-large memory foam dog beds. Many of our round sofa beds are waterproof, hypoallergenic and provide a strong cushion for your pup to counteract stiff joints. Some offer a plush 6-inches of memory foam for your pet. And many have anti-slip bottoms. Discover orthopedic loungers, indoor/outdoor mat-style beds and memory foam dog couch beds. Your favorite walking and hiking partner needs a good night’s sleep so they can be ready to play tomorrow.
Petco has small dog beds, medium dog beds and large dog beds to accommodate your canine’s unique size. To find some of the best extra-large dog beds selections for your dog, visit your favorite neighborhood Petco Pet Care Center or shop online.

Hello, thank you for using PetCoach.\ You can use any type of filler you would like however, most of what you will find is polyester types. You can purchase "stuffing" at any fabric type store like JoAnn Fabrics. ( https://www.joann.com/sewing/foam-and-fiber/fiberfill/ ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Dachshunds tend to be snugglers, and also love to be buried (like under a blanket!). I'd look into a dog bed (or even a large cat bed) that has a [clamshell or hooded design]() that she can crawl into and be covered up by it. Most smaller dogs (especially dachshunds) tend to like this [cave type bed]().

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sorry to hear about Buddy. This is a million dollar question. I have experienced it with my dogs and I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now. Some dogs are just very destructive when it comes to toys, beds, and other items in the house. Maybe it's just boredom, lack of environmental enrichment, etc. I would advise more walks, more exercise, etc to see if the behavior continues. Good luck

I suggest blocking off your bed so that Oli doesn't have access to it for a few weeks. At the same time have a nice, comfy bed for Oli in the same room. You may also want to offer Oli a Kong stuffed with peanut butter or spray cheese so that can distract him in his bed. If Oli seems anxious about his new sleeping arrangement an Adaptil collar or diffuser in the room may help. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and good luck!

Cottons sheets or shredded paper can be very effective, as can lining the bedding area with aeroboard insulation or inch deep rubber matting. If he is also allergic to dust mites, bedding should be replaced/boil washed and the area vacuumed at least once a week
